Great Karagi ! Good service and nice ambiance. For me the only thing is its kinda pricy and it takes long to cook. Maybe it might be because I came late about an hour before they closed. I would come back once my funds are replenished

Summary: Okay sushi, under staffed, and bad service.

I normally don't write a bad review, but after the horrible time tonight at dinner I felt the need to. Thinking it was Friday night, the place will be a little packed, but it wasn't when we got there around 7 PM. We were seated at the Sushi bar right by the sushi go around and there was only one sushi going around at the time and no chef in sight. A place known as the Rotary sushi, you would think there will be more sushi on the belt...

Food: We order tuna and salmon nigiri first and then Spice tuna and Tamago (egg). We grabbed crab roll from the belt.
The sushi was just okay and of course I end up getting a piece of salmon that has the chewy part near the bones.

Staffing: We were the first one there at the counter so we got to order couple sushi when the chef came out, but after that we were only able to put one more order in. The sushi chef was the only one making the sushi and only one for the entire restaurant. There were 5 tables that were full and 3 more couples that came in afterwards that sat at the counter and everyone had some sort of sushi order. We tried to get the chef's attention but she was way to busy and didn't want to bother her either.
They definitely needed another sushi chef.

Service: The waiting staff weren't friendly. There attitude tonight just wasn't all there. They did greet us and got our drink order, but since we were going to order sushi that was pretty much it from our waiter. A different waiter ended up getting our checks, but this waiter was the opposite and was way too chatty. This waiter was talking with all the customers way to long trying to promote their Valantines event. I would have been fine listening to it, but I was hungry and upset that I just wanted to leave.

I'll give the benefit of doubt and maybe it was bad day or something, but the place can do a lot better. A lot of improvements is needed. It'll be a long time before I check out this place again. If you want sushi, I suggest other places. The kitchen food here looked pretty decent though, but I'll let others review on that.

Love this restaurant, apart from being a rotary sushi restaurant, they have also begun doing Chamorro-Japanese and other ethnic fusions of food! My normal visits consist of purchasing a fusion dish, then sampling two or three sushi plates from the rotary bar as I wait for my food. The iced tea is refillable and the staff is incredibly friendly! This is one of the only rotary sushi bars in the Agana area, so it's very convenient for people in the area! There are also some excellent historical sites nearby, great place to go if you wanted to walk around Agana to see the sights.

Fresh sushi. Decent variety. This is the better of the rotary sushi on island. And it's not packed all the time...yet.
