Alibi Room

I love this hidden gem in the market. A friend brought me here for the first time in 1994 and I fell in love with the place. The Alibi Room is one of the places I recommend to all friends visiting Seattle. Can be very busy at times so I would not recommend if you are looking for a quick meal or drink. My favourite pre-funk place if going to a show at the Showbox....

The thin crust mini-pizza is just the right size for one person. They are very flavorful and reasonably priced. The place is hidden behind the Gum wall.

It wasn't that G* messed up the order, it was the fact that she did not care enough about the table to 1. Stay at the table and get the whole order before leaving half way through to do something else 2. take the time to ask if we would like something besides water before running away 3. Ignoring me while looking directly at me trying to get your attention when the order that you half listened to was messed up 4. Not coming back to the table to fill any waters at all or ask if we wanted refills for any drink that we had to beg you to get 5. Giving us a dirty pizza box (equipped with odd pizza toppings and grease all over it) All in all, very disappointed. Saw reviews and expected awesome experience, completely let down...

I've been here plenty of times before, and have had no comment complaints... and that's the only reason I'm not giving just one star. The blonde waitress in the red top and overalls working tonight was just tremendously rude. Ive never felt more disappointed in service than I did tonight. Maybe this is only a good place to go during the day?

Quiet little nook of a place right off the gum wall. I saw this place on Google Maps and came here because of the show Shameless! But I will come back for MANY reasons! Good food! Good staff! Good tunes! AND NO TV'S!!! Meaning not busy during sporting events. It's a rare find in Seattle!
