Worlds Worst service. NO JOKE arrived for dinner at 825 pm for 4 ppl after reading opening hrs open to 9pm. Told we must order immediately as we close soon. Thrown the paper menu and then the so called service waiter says "order at the counter you come so late" i then asked if we could have normal sit down service alike to everyone else who comes for dinner and lunch. Waiter argues that he is to busy and goes back to sit outside and play on his phone. Its a real shame as the food is really good when ive eaten there.. Although drinks do not show up if you can manage to order one. I thought mcdonalds were the only place you receive food before drink and were the only restaurants you that you order at the counter to ppl who offer no customer service or experience..

We walked out didn't go to counter to order like i would if it was for take away and not dinning experience. Withput hesitation let the waiter know that he is the reason for a bad review and horrible experience tonight amd he replies with "i know" (kinda funny) i thought same as this review lol

better service at centrelink on a sunday then at new shanghai charlestown. An absolute disgrace to the franchise.
Ps try the Thai next door. Always great there..

Con- Arrived at 8pm... was told it was to late to be seated inside although multiple tables were free..forced into buying takeaway..also had to wait out side for 40min..

Pro- food was good.

Excellent location - beautiful outdoor area for a
Shopping centre
Shady with trees and lots of indoor seating

Prawn Xiu Mai were incredible and well priced for size. Also do frozen takeaway dumplings.

Service needs to be a little quicker but nice staff

The best vegetable dumplings Ive ever had. Customer service mostly average except this one guy who went out of his way to tell us what is vegan, he's always very friendly. Had to wait 30+ mins for a meal a few times but it's worth the wait. The salt and pepper garlic tofu is a standout dish.

The initial welcome was promising. We sat down to a table that had no cutlery or serviettes, just chopsticks. We ordered the dumplings which tasted nice but came after the mains. One of the mains were cold, asked for replacement but it was microwaved which overcooked the meat. Waiter offered no charge but when we went to pay, it was still on the bill. If everything was hot, we wouldn't be complaining. Lovely atmosphere but average customer service.
