Was just advised of premiums almost doubling at change of underwriter. Chose due to low premiums, had cover for two years and will likely have to change insurer which will cause issue carrying over a medical condition.

They have a new underwriter, premiums almost doubled compared to previous insurer, and the level of cover decreased! Will be looking elsewhere.

I had a really bad experience with Petplan, they have crazy excess fee, I did a claim of $230 and $150 was the excess fee, I checked with other pet insurances and petplan was one of the highest. Please do a really good research before choosing your pet insurance, our pets deserves the best.
