Backpacker hostel very clean, Good breakfast and friendly staff. I've really liked the upfloor.

We had a mixed experience at the 2 bedroom apartment a couple of blocks from the hostel. The accommodations were nice and roomy, though not as clean as we would expect for the price - we had to wash glasses prior to use and the back patio was extremely dusty and had not been swept in quite a while. The beds were nice and soft, but the pillows were not. The hot water was a real problem, turning hot and cold during the whole shower, rather unpleasant. No shampoo/conditioner was another disappointment as we paid premium rates for the apartment and in Lisbon and Coimbra, similar apartments had these amenities. The location is probably the biggest plus, walk to everything in Porto. Check all the rates on the Internet prior to going with one - they vary widely.

Great hostel in a very central location. We stayed in one of the suites which was just as lovely as a hotel, staff very friendly. Breakfast was really busy so get there earlier to have the best selection.

Absolutely loved my stay at Tattva Design Hostel. It's clear to see that the owners have put a lot of thought and work into the design of the place. The beds are super super comfy and i had a great night's sleep. The staff went above and beyond to make sure i had a great stay there. They were always there to give personalised recommendations when i needed them. Also, the breakfast was a great touch, especially the pancakes. All in all a great stay! Top marks, well done guys!

The best hostel I have ever stayed in! And i've stayed in a lot all over the world! Clean, great lockers, beds with lights and curtains, wonderful rooftop outdoor area, good bathroom facilities, EXCELLENT breakfast (crepes and all!) and good activities offered. Also wonderfully situated. Highly recommend it!!
