and the artisans' center, admiring such magnificent mud-brick structures as the Djinguiraiber Mosque, the Mosque of Sankore,
and the Palace of Bouctou. See the houses of the various 19th century European explorers who used Timbuktu as a base. Lunch in town. Day 5: Timbuktu - Mopti. A. M. : Drive back

Day 6: Mopti - Djenné. A. M: Mopti city

Transfer by vehicle (local transportation or 4WD) on the unpaved road going to the Fulani country middle, arrive at a nestled village located on the Gambia river banks, on the first hills shaping Fouta Djalon foothills.
