Hotel NH Collection Villa de Bilbao

We booked a superior room for 2 nights. Room are big an clean. However , room with a street view are poorly isolated and the noise from the street is disturbing to sleep.

Aynara and John proactive ,helpful and outgoing. We were there for two nights room 416 excellent breafast .

I had a great stay here while visiting Bilbao on vacation. It's located close to many attractions including the Guggenheim which I highly recommend visiting while in town. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and I would stay here again the next time I visit Bilbao which is hopefully is soon.

Nice spacious room & bathroom. Free wifi but only news channels in English. In a good location for getting around the city. Breakfast very good. Nespresso machine in room which was a nice bonus. Housekeeping not consistent. No concierge or porter which you would expect for a 4* hotel.

Having high expectations for the NH I was sadly disappointed. The service was exceptional and the staff was very accommodating.The bedrooms are modern and well appointed. The hotel is very centrally located. Walking distance to everything. That was its plus.
As far as the hotel it didn't meet the NH standards at all. First there wasn't a bellman to assist with the luggage so we had to unload and bring the luggage up ourselves. We requested a king bed and they didn't accommodate us at first. Once request they looked for a better suited room. Then we got a king bed with mold on the bathroom ceiling. We again called for another room. They quickly gave us a better room..... We were upgraded to a premium room with view to the Gran Via slippers and robe. The hotels thermostat is set for the entire hotel. Therefore we couldn't adjust the temperature in the room. If we got hot, we could open the window. Here's where the view isn't good. You open the window and hear all the street noise. The walls are very thin and you hear all the neighbors noise.... Lots of banging in the morning.
I will definitely look for another chain in the future. ☹️
