Luxurious and well appointed with spacious rooms and very large bathrooms. The staff were really nice. We loved the clawfoot tub in our room and breakfast was superb, in fact our favorite porridge in Scotland. We enjoyed our stay here very much and only wished that it was a little closer to the heart of Glasgow (if there is such a thing). Since we had a car though, it wasn't a particular concern. However, if you're only walking around Glasgow, it's just a bit out of the way.

Room was lovely and packed with character. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Dinner was first class. Couldn't ask for more for an overnight break!

Hotel du View is a regular spot for us. The people are always friendly. Service done with an experienced professionalism. Food is superb and the drinks list French-inspired and thus slightly limited internationally, but priced well and not ridiculously profiteering. All in all, a superb day. We go there often and can't think of one negative. Excellent.

Absolutely fantastic stay here for my friends wedding. Every member of staff was fantastic and nothing was a bother. Rooms were large and beautiful. Breakfast.... yum yum!

Attended as part of a wedding and for this type of function Hotel du Vin is a great choice. I am unsure about room prices as there seemed to be quite a variation in size, ours cost £100 for two for a single night. Spacious and well decorated rooms, with enough variation to make the room you reveive feel somewhat unique. Food served was excellent although drinks choices were somewhat limited as the bar area is small. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Would visit again.
