This is my local for a Sunday roast. The food is fantastic and it's very reasonably priced. The deserts are extremely tasty and the portions are massive! Parking is pay and display but sometimes it's worth it of the pub is so good!

So 3 weeks after this review, I went in again and I can't believe how rubbish customer service was! I was ignored at the bar when it wasn't even busy! Then service was slow, and we were seated then moved as they sat us in the wrong area. I don't think I want to be coming back for a while.

Great value carvery with a choice of 3 plate sizes as well as other tasty menu options. Can get busy but there is plenty of tables and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Parking outside in the car park costs £1for 3 hours but hand the tear off parking receipt from your parking ticket and get the £1 parking fee off your meal.

Absolutely shocking. We came on a Monday evening with a group of 15. The wait staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience and kept shouting at us and being rude. To the point where they even slammed plates down on the table. I had ordered half a rack of ribs but what turned up was a quarter of a rack of ribs. They had taken a half rack and cut it in half! The ribs were no even as long as my little finger. Please don't advertise a half rack if what you are serving isn't a half rack!!

The only good points I could find were the reasonable prices of food and drink and the guy behind the bar with dreadlocks was fantastic. So friendly and helpful. Maybe your wait staff could learn a thing or 2 from him.

One male member of staff tried to charge for extra carvery meal and continued to claim it was my mistake not his (think I might know how many meals I need to order), quite aggressive and rude. Thats the negative out the way. The female staff were great fun and helpful. The carvery food was really nice, I'd go back to Birmingham just for that. Massive portions and tasty. Good busy atmosphere.

I have been here a few times and the staff have always been warm and friendly. They really make you feel welcome. The carvery is lovely and the chefs cutting the meat are both professional and good at their jobs. I have never had a bad experience and as a result, it's always busy. Whenever I'm in Oldbury, I pop in for a carvery, yummy
