I've never in my life had such mouth water tacos. I'm a native to New Mexico and have had it all but this place surprised me. The service was good and the margarita topped it off. Well done back street, we'll be back!

Service was on point. Wait wasn't too bad. Chips and salsa were what you should get from a new Mexico restaurant, meaning they were good. I had the backstreet burrito (chicken) and my girl had the fish and shrimp street tacos. We tried eachothers plates. The burrito was great from the first to the last bite. I loved her tacos, especially the shrimp. She didn't like the pineapple in it but I think it gave it a nice sweet flavor. The one thing that threw me off was the music. They had 94 rock which is a local classic rock station, which wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't a fancy Mexican cuisine restaurant. If they would have had Mexican or mariachis playing, that would be more fitting. 40 bucks all together for our meal, not bad for this place being upper scale. Would recommend.

Service was outstanding. Patio location was very nice. Food was excellent. Only catch the beef taco as is very very hot..waitress told us was spicy but a bit off the charts for us Midwesterners. Highly recommend it.

Went last Friday night, expecting it to be busy, and was told the wait was 45 minutes. An hour an a half later, there had been no apology from the hostess, no follow up and no indication that there was a member of management actually running the restaurant. We left without ever being seated and even though we had left a number to notify us when a table was open inside, no one ever called. I am willing to wait for good food, but being treated like I don't matter as a potentially paying customer really made this a terrible experience.

Great street-style tacos. I'm from CT and even I thought the prices were a bit steep. I had the duck tacos and they were excellent. Bar area is small but comfortable, same for the dining area. Staff is excellent.
