Eleven City Diner

When in Chicago you really should eat at the Eleven City Diner. The service is friendly fast and they make you feel like a local. We ate there twice once for lunch and the other morning for breakfast. They have bagels made on the premises as well as the best corned beef and Pastrami. Will visit next time when in Chicago ... oh, and don't forget to order the red velvet cake! Amazing!!

Really nice little place. Had a great patty melt, fries were decent, soda fountain style Cherry Cola was delicious. A little high priced, but not too bad. Easy walk from Roosevelt station. Check it out if you're looking for somewhere near Museum campus.

This place was very nice and friendly. The staff was better than accommodating. The drinks were excellent. I took off one star because some of our food was a little dry. I guess it depends on what you order. Overall it's a great place.

We stopped for lunch on our way to the Adler Planetarium. It was wonderful, our waitress couldn't have been more help, the food was delicious and the diner itself is great.
We had such a good time and food at lunch that we returned for breakfast the next morning. We were recognized by the host, which I thought was remarkable. Our waiter kept our coffee full and again the food was great.
It's a place you have to check out, I think you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the food.

We can here our first day in Chicago and we're so blown away we came back for breakfast the next day.

The atmosphere is very unique and a mix between old school diner and eclectic hipster spot. It was so cool to walk in and see all the different styles of paintings and decorations.

Now the food. It was amazing. I had the pastrami and egg burger with bacon. Best burger I have had in a while and I eat a lot of burgers. Our family loved it so much we had to come back for breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was even better. I got the corned beef and pastrami hash. The spicy ketchup made it a 5/5. Also have to say the servers were super chill and helpful beyond believe.

I highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area.
