Dr Sommers did my 1st rib resection, anterior & medial scalenectomy for TOS. It went great, I woke up in the PACU and new he had fixed the problem. My arm wasn’t numb, I could feel my fingers, I’ve been able to sleep again! The muscles in my hands are now almost equal in size again, I have resumed mountain biking & other activities I had given up.
It took some persistence to find him, 5 prior doctors & specialist said anything from “I think something is wrong but I don’t know what it is”, “I can’t locate the problem but I’ll refer you to another specialist”, “You are young, healthy and you need to get on with your life”. Dr Sommers knew what was wrong and fixed it with ZERO Complications. Thank You Sooo much!
