Best care !! Up to the minute procedures available and everyone is so efficient with the work they do. Very glad that my doctor has recommended I go there for my breast cancer procedures !

I went to this facility because they have cutting edge mammography that is supposed to be much clearer than the old type. I have dense breasts and nothing ever shows up on the traditional mammogram. I called beforehand to make sure it was okay to come just for the mammo, even though I don't have cancer, and they said it was fine. I have had a breast biopsy and 4 solid nodules that another facility had been following for years, but then the radiologist stopped following them, even though one had grown to 1 cm and was still growing.

Many states have passed legislation mandating that women be informed if they have dense breasts and be offered an alternative method of screening, in addition to mammograms, such as ultrasound or MRI, with mandatory insurance coverage, since mammograms are mostly useless for us, but not the state of Florida. My breast nodules had been followed with ultrasounds, and this worked well for me. But my insurance would no longer pay for it. My thinking was if it has to be just mammograms and nothing else, it needs to be the best.

I'm not sure why the tech wanted to put me through hell, but she seemed to think I was a nut case and didn't believe anything I told her. Only some of my prior records had been transferred to this facility - the normal mammograms, not the ultrasounds which showed the nodules or the biopsy report, the MRI, etc. So she had the radiologist talk to me. He asked me about the biopsy, the nodules, etc., obviously not believing anything I had told the tech since my records weren't verifying this. I was made to feel like an idiot and the tech sat there and listened to the radiologist ask me all these questions, seeming to enjoy my embarrassment.

The radiologist seemed sincere, but it was obvious that he believed the tech and not me. This was a humiliating experience that never should have happened. I would not recommend this facility if you're going there for a mammogram unless you have all of your records in hand.

Needed Special MRI. All techs answer support staff are top drawer. Very professional and caring. 5 Stars all the way.

I love how the every one work in a professional way, the staff in the MRI dept. are great and know how to make you comfortable during your test. By the way the entire staff was great.
